Petsafe’s drinking fountain is a hit with adult rabbits

For a long time, our bunny’s water source came from a lixit bottle with a spout designed for small animals. It was a great space saver.
However, when we upgraded our bunny’s living space to allow more hopping room, we decided to look at better watering options as well.
We tried a non tip drinking bowl, but it quickly collected bunny hair on the surface.
Searching for other options at the store, the 1/2 gallon drinking fountain from Petsafe looked really interesting. With a filter to catch debris, a nonstop flow of water, and an open bowl in case of power outage - this product seemed worthy to try.
Sure enough, we are very happy with our decision to go with the fountain. The water stays very clean, and our bunny’s pee is less concentrated as he is drinking more.
Even though this fountain is advertised for cats, we highly recommend this for adult rabbit owners as well. We have yet to try this with baby or juvenile bunnies.
Tip: Make sure to keep any cords and plugs inaccessible to your rabbit.
This fountain is available at Irving Supply & Feed in 1/2 gallon, 1 gallon, and 2 gallon.
